We've been blessed with so much sunshine lately it has me thinking of ice cream and flip flops! What better products to create with than the Ice Cream Corner Suite from Stampin' Up?!?
For these cards I started with the Ice Cream Corner DSP timmed down to 3.75 x 5" and mounted onto coordinating cardstock measuring 4 x 5.25". Using the left over scraps, I added smaller strips to the top half each and adhered them to a basic white A2 card base.
Pulling out colours from the DSP, I stamped out several of the ice cream scoops and cone bases and punched them out with the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch. I cut out scalloped white rectangles from the Stitched So Sweetly die set to use as a base for building my ice cream cones. The cones are adhered flat but each scoop is adhered with dimensionals slightly overlapping the one below it.
I then added a bit of twine to each before attaching to my card base. For a final touch I added a white embossed sentiment banner strip and a few rhinestone basic jewels. (Truthfully I had forgotten I had the Ice Cream Corner Sprinkles or I would have used those instead of the jewels.. next time!).
Wherever you are I hope you are also experiencing a bit of sunshine. Thanks for joining me today!
