Shaker Tags

Popping in today to share some tags I made using the Jar Of Flowers stamp set from Stampin' Up!.  It's been quite a while since I've made tags, and I was really drawn to the idea of a shaker tag when I saw the example on page 12 of the 2020/2021 annual catalogue.

Using that sample as my starting point I stamped my jar image onto coloured cardstocked, and then stamped the jar and the sunflowers onto watercolour cardstock.  I punched out the jar from the watercolour cardstock using the coordinating punch, and then coloured in the rest of the image using ink refills and a small water colour brush.

Sweet Gifts

Like many crafty moms, I always like to make something "altered" for the kids for Christmas. Something cute and fun that I think they will get a kick out of even if they aren't such little kiddos anymore.

I few weeks back I came across some small jars in my drawer that I had picked up at Michael's ages ago. Lightbulb! I knew exactly what I was going to make as soon as I saw them.
