For months now I've seen ads pop up on my Facebook feed for @SweetReadsBox. It is a monthly book kit club for book lovers, it's Canadian and, it peeked my interest for both those very reasons. I decided to order just a one time box for August to check it out and today it came!
Lemme just say folks, it did not dissapoint.
The book in this months #SweetReadsBox is "Ghosts" by Dolly Alderton. This is a new writer for me, which is super exciting, and the storyline sounds both fun and touching. I'm looking forward to getting into the pages of this one.
There were also many other fun goodies included. Tea, notecards, soap, a really cool wooden book mark.. Absolutely everything that was included is something I will use and look forward to trying. There is also a list with short descriptions of each item AND about 80% of them are from Canadian companies!
Technology is great for sure, but I am definitely a hard copy book girl. I love holding a book in hand, the smell of the ink on the pages, and even seeing a great collection of books on my shelves. As far as first impressions go, this was a win for me.
