Queen Anne's Lace - this is such a sweet and simple stamp set from Stampin' Up! and I think often gets overlooked. I love how you can make the image soft and gentle like I did in the card below, or bold and beautiful like my bold purple and gold cards above. This set is also so perfect to send out cards to those who may be struggling a bit right now with COVID and all the lockdowns, as it has some really nice sentiments.
For my first set of cards I used gorgeous grape cardstock for my card bases, and then I added an embossed layer made by using embossing folders and basic white cardstock matted onto a gold cardstock. I stamped the flowers in gorgeous grape and just jade, and then cut them out with one of the scalloped circles from the Layering Circles die set.
For my second card I used crumb cake cardstock for my card base. I die cut a stitched rectangle from basic white cardstock and blended varying shades of ink to create my background. I heat embossed the flowers with white embossing powder and then layered my background onto another piece of basic white cardstock before adhering to my card base. The sentiment is stamped with Memento ink and die cut out using the Stitched Nested Lables set, (which unfortunately I beleive is no longer available). A few basic pearls finished of the nice soft feel of this card.
For a great stamp set at a great price point, I'd suggest given Queen Anne's Lace another look!
