Hi there! How about some lizard love today? I have had this stamp set for quite sometime, and I honestly can't recall if I've ever created a card with it before. It's caught my eye a few times in the last few weeks, so I figure it was time to get stamping.
I had younger children in mind when I created these group of cards, and I wanted to play off the verses in the stamp set using bright, busy colors and patterns.
I used Stampin Blends to color my images and to color in the sentiments. I did a bit of blending with oxides on my backgrounds and then used mainly solid color cardstock for matting the patterned papers.
For this last card I had a little more fun with the image and colored it in mixture of shades. Just silly enough for a child to love. I layered the different pattern pattern papers on this card rather than individually matting them with cardstock.
