Hi there! Thanks for popping by. With Christmas right around the corner so many are in a mad dash to get Christmas cards created and out the door, but why not have a little fun while doing so?
One of the Facebook groups I am a part of (and love dearly) is sharing a word of the week to have a little bit of fun during this crazy time. I haven't been able to play along every week, but I think it's such a neat idea!
The word of the week that I created these slimline cards for was 'SNOW'. I started by using some distress oxide inks to create my pink background and then added splashes of white with opaque white colour mist to create a snow effect.
I didn't have a hill die, so I used a cloud die that I had instead to create some exaggerated fluffy snow hills. The little lambs are sweet and playful, so the fluffy clouds kind of fit!
Using a mix of snowflakes dies and punches, I create a few larger snowflakes to finish things off.
The next word of the week is 'TREES'.. what shall I create?
