Hi there! I believe I had mentioned a little while back that I had made a few more alcohol ink cards, and today I thought I would share them. I have already shared these in a few facebook groups I am a part of and considering I have no previous experience with making alcohol ink flowers, the feedback I received was really very heart warming. 💗
Another thing that prompted this post is that I finally got around to editing a video I created showing just how I make my alcohol ink flowers. If you want to check out that video you can do so HERE. Editing videos is also something that is new to me, but thankfully my very patient daughter is helping me with that!
If you really want to go down the rabbit hole, you can search Youtube for a whole variety of videos on how to make alcohol ink flowers. There are some really amazing artist how there doing incredible things with this medium.
I really wanted my flowers to take center stage on my cards, so I kept things simple by framing them with a black matte and a complementing coloured card base. For most of them I used my #GoPressfoilmachine to make the sentiment, and the anniversary card is from Elizabeth Designs shimmer sheets.
Since making these cards I actually have gotten myself a little air compressor. I've not had a chance to try it out yet though.. perhaps that will be another video. ;)
