One of my favorite patterned papers that Stampin' Up! came out with this year is the Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP. In my perfect world Summer and Fall would last for 9 months of the year and Spring and Winter would only last for 3!
I absolutely love this crisp fall air, the tastes and smells and of course, THE COLOURS! This paper line falls right into that last category. Deep oranges, rich browns, beautiful golds.. all so pretty. And if the paper isn't love, there is also a Beautiful Autumn stamp set and Autumn punch pack!
I used all three of these products to create my thank you cards, and I really love how they turned out. The little leaf and acorn embellishments were punched out of one of the sheets of paper (how's that for easy!), but you could also stamp those images in whatever colours you like and punch them out as well. Oh! Or heat emboss them in gold!! That's an idea... By the way, if you like both the stamp set AND the punches, you can get them as a bundle too.
I used crumb cake cardstock for my base and the embossing folder is called Woodland. I think I'm going to make a few more of these thank you cards, maybe try inking the edges of the pattern paper strips and stamping out the little embellishments. I hope you give them a try too, there are so many possibilities
